Aromatic Rosemary-Infused Chai for Tea Lovers

Boil the Water:

• In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the crushed cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, and fresh rosemary.
• Let the spices and rosemary simmer in the boiling water for 2-3 minutes to release their flavors.

Add the Tea Leaves:

• Reduce the heat and add the black tea leaves (or tea bags) to the boiling water. Let it steep for 2 minutes.

Add Milk:

• Pour in the milk and bring the mixture back to a gentle boil.
• Simmer for 3-4 minutes, allowing the tea, milk, spices, and rosemary to combine beautifully.

Sweeten and Strain:

• Add sugar or honey as per your preference and stir well.
• Strain the chai into cups to remove the tea leaves, spices, and rosemary sprig.

Serving Suggestions:

Pair this chai with biscuits, pakoras, or light snacks for a relaxing tea-time experience. Its earthy notes from rosemary complement both sweet and savory accompaniments.

Pro Tip:

Eewa Farms’ rosemary adds a subtle, refreshing aroma to the chai. For a stronger herbal kick, slightly crush the rosemary leaves before adding them to the water.
